57% increase in webinar conversions from one quick audit.
Hey there,
Want to know how we increased webinar conversion rates by a whopping 57%? We did a full audit of our client’s webinar and found 12 key lifts I am going to share with you here.
Let's dive in and explore each one in detail…
Remove the countdown:
Problem: The 70-second countdown at the start of the replay caused a massive drop-off in viewership.
Solution: Eliminate the countdown entirely to keep viewers engaged from the very beginning.
Speed up the replay:
Problem: Viewers might not have the patience to sit through a full-length webinar replay.
Solution: Increase the replay speed to 1.2x, allowing viewers to consume more content in less time without compromising comprehension.
Build authority:
Problem: First-time viewers might not know or trust the webinar host.
Solution: Include a concise yet powerful authority-building section at the beginning to establish credibility and expertise.
Position the stack:
Problem: Focusing solely on product features can be uninspiring and fail to capture attention.
Solution: Shift the focus to selling the benefits of the product, showcasing how it can transform the viewer's life.
Sell the benefits:
Problem: Listing features alone doesn't create an emotional connection or motivate action.
Solution: Emphasize the benefits of each feature and future-pace, painting a vivid picture of the viewer's life with the product.
Stay in pitch mode:
Problem: Switching between teaching and pitching can confuse and disengage the buyer.
Solution: Once you start pitching, maintain that mode throughout to keep the viewer focused on the offer.
Keep the link on-screen:
Problem: Viewers might be ready to purchase but can't find or remember the link.
Solution: Display the purchase link on-screen throughout the entire pitch to remove any barriers to action.
Use recent testimonials:
Problem: Outdated testimonials can create doubts and objections in the viewer's mind.
Solution: Incorporate fresh, relevant testimonials that address common concerns and showcase recent successes.
Handle objections:
Problem: Viewers may have reservations about time, money, or their ability to succeed with the product.
Solution: Proactively address these objections head-on throughout the webinar, providing reassurance and solutions.
Use various closes:
Problem: Relying on a single closing technique may not resonate with every viewer.
Solution: Employ a range of closing strategies, such as closing on time, money, and ability, to appeal to different buyer motivations.
Restack the bonuses:
Problem: Mentioning bonuses once may not create a lasting impact or sense of value.
Solution: Restack and reiterate the bonuses after each one to emphasize their combined worth and urge viewers to act.
Follow the pitching framework:
Problem: An unstructured or inconsistent pitch can confuse and deter potential buyers.
Solution: Adhere to a proven pitching framework that logically and persuasively guides the viewer towards a purchase decision.
By implementing these 12 steps, we achieved an fantastic 57% increase in webinar conversion rates. Imagine what these optimizations could do for your own webinars!

Are you leaving money on the table with your email marketing? If you're not using retargeting sequences, the answer is likely yes.
Email retargeting sequences are a powerful way to guide customers through the buyer journey and increase conversions. By targeting specific stages of the journey with tailored emails, you can provide value, handle objections, and create a sense of urgency that drives action. We have used these to generate an extra six figure per month for clients.
Here are some essential email retargeting sequences every business should have in their arsenal:
Nurture Sequences: These daily emails provide tips, testimonials, trigger actions, and tales (personal stories) to build rapport and trust with your audience.
Interest Deadline Sequences: Pique your subscribers' interest with a series of emails that create intrigue and urgency around your offer. Once they click, move them into a deadline sequence that highlights benefits and scarcity.
Consumption Sequences: Help your customers get the most out of your product with a welcome email, step-by-step setup instructions, and consumption tips. Don't forget to ask if they need any help along the way!
Upsell Retargeting Sequences: Did a customer buy your front-end product but skip the upsells? No problem! Send them a second chance offer with an extra bonus or discount to sweeten the deal.
Abandoned Cart Sequences: Recover lost sales with a series of emails that ask what went wrong, offer support, and provide a reason to complete the purchase.
Book a Call Reminder Sequences: Ensure your prospects show up for their scheduled calls with reminder emails and SMS messages leading up to the appointment.
By implementing these email retargeting sequences, you'll be able to hold your customers' hands through the buying process and maximize your conversions. So don't let those leads slip through the cracks – start retargeting today!
