Tripling email click-through rates by focusing on the hook
Imagine tripling your email click-through rates just by making one simple change. That's exactly what happened when we took a client's webinar email from a 1.7% click-through rate to a whopping 4.8% - and it's still climbing!
The problem was that the emails were too long, trying to convince the reader to attend by listing everything they would get and why they should join. We asked ourselves,
"How can we shorten this down and create more curiosity?"
The key was focusing on the right hook - the webinar title that would get people to click. We took that hook and turned it into a short, 2-3 line email.
By doing this, we could test if the hook was working because the only reason someone would click is if they wanted to learn more about that specific topic.
We removed all the other variables and focused solely on the hook. The result? A massive increase in click-through rates and engagement.
So, if you're struggling with low click-through rates and you're not sure why, try shortening your message and focusing on the right hook. If you have the right hook, everything else becomes much easier.
